about the chamber
The Dillingham Chamber of Commerce is located at 348 D Street West in downtown Dillingham. The Chamber office is located inside the Public Library building next to the Sam Fox Museum. Established in 1985, we are currently supporting over 60 members.
As in many communities, we were incorporated to help provide economic growth and stability in our area. Today, we do this in several ways:
- The Dillingham Chamber of Commerce is a membership organization promoting a healthy business environment by supporting diversified economic development and by supporting community projects that enhance the quality of life in the greater Dillingham area.
- As you might expect, we keep a watchful eye on politics. From the local to state level, we support bills that will help our community thrive in the economic arena. We have hosted many government officials to get their view on important issues facing the Southwest region of Alaska.
- The Chamber weighs in on the changes facing our region. We are progressive in pursuing opportunities for new small business development.
